Our lives are shaped by numbers,
every step of the way
starting off with grades in class
to the salaries we earn today.
Age is defined by number
and beauty by the weighing scale
social status is the amount of clout
that your money can purchase
The number of cars you own
or the rocks adorning your hand
the villas you own in farflung lands
are they, the measure of you as a man?
In this dizzy world of numbers
you are in a constant spin
a turn of the wheel can change your luck
with numbers you can't always win!
A true winner is one who stands apart
and watches the ebb and flow
realising that its just game
numbers come and Go!

We go thru this number game all our life. Some times not out choice (when we are kids) and then always out of choice(adults). We never learn from it but carry it with us all our life long. When the load gets heavy we try push it on someone elses "responsible" shoulder ......
