Leaves dance with joy,,
in the cool breeze
welcoming the rain.
They quiver with fear,
when lashed by thunderstorms.
It doesn't really matter,
how old or what color
they are.
all that matters,
is how they weather the storm.
Why can't we,
emulate the leaf
and move on
from outer beauty
to inner strength?
