Happiness

We sit together,
on the pebbly bank,
watching the play
of sunlight on water.

It's fun,
skimming stones,
that he races to fetch,
his body quivering wih delight.


Wet and tired,
we flop down,
and doze,
on the grassy bank.

Happiness to me,
is best decribed,
by such moments,
stolen from time.
